Our Pratapgarh was also fortunate in hosting a sant sammelan which lasted for a fortnight and which perhaps was next after Chitrakoot in point of grandeur... a gathering of about 40-50,000 persons daily... people from the adjoining districts of Allahabad, Faizabad, Sultanpur and Rae Bareli used to come by train and attend the sammelan, the first of its kind in Pratapgarh, During his stay at Raigarh in Madhya Pradesh recently, people, men and women, poured in like a swarm of locusts and were simply fascinated by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj's discourses and satsang ...now that Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj has become Jagadguru, he belongs to no matha or sampradaya and is the Jagadguru of the whole world.
